You guys know how much I love working with new up coming brands that I feel are trying to do something different in the fashion industry, and what's better than showing you guys the amazing shirts from Anneliese of London.
I'm not much of a shirt wearer, but instantly I knew that it was a match made in heaven when I came across Anneliese of London's pieces. These shirts (blouses) are made of silk and look oh so stylish however you style them. What I love most about the shirts are how versatile they are. A good shirt is the perfect piece to take you from work to party. And who doesn't love items that can be used for both.
I especially love the bombshell shirt in white. It's the perfect shirt to take you from day to night. Just look at the detailing on the arms!

Anneliese herself is an avid shirt wearer. She, like me loves having one piece that can fit into any part of your wardrobe. She wanted to merge the gap between high street and designer pieces by creating Anneliese of London, a brand with an in between price, but premium quality specialising in shirts. Not only this, she wanted to add something to the brand, other than the classic white shirt, which, lets be honest is a classic, but does get a little tiresome.
As a fashion lover I adore finding pieces that stand out from the crowd. Hello sparkly sleeves. Anneliese says "I wanted to make shirts more appealing to a younger audience, more modern and more current, which is why many of our silk shirts are mixed with fancy trims and fabrics. However a classic silk shirt always comes in handy so I definitely ensured that I incorporated that into the collection too."
All shirts are 100% (italian) silk crepe de chine (thats fine silk to you and me) which also means that the silk leaves such a smooth feeling on the skin, which is so lush.
I decided to style two different shirts from the collection to see how diverse they are. The white shirt with the silver leatherette detailing has got to be my favourite from the entire collection. It's so playful, yet looks so sophisticated at the same time. I teamed the shirt with a pair of black jeans, used my FABULOUS Crown Love clutch bag, and put on my favourite heels. If I was going to wear this for work, I'd simply change my shoes and bag for a more 'practical' look.
The khaki shirt is absolutely stunning. I adore the detailing across the sleeves. From the front, it looks like your average shirt, but from the sides, it's something that dreams are made of. I love wearing khaki and leather, I feel like it just toughens the look, but while wearing a skirt it still looks elegant.
