Jumping for Joy with Vestry

Friday 30 October 2015

As you can see, my love obsession with navy continues. I snapped this little beauty up from H&M a couple of weeks ago and I sure am wearing it oh so much. I know there's a rule against wearing black and navy, but rules are there to be broken (fashion rules, don't go breaking any laws and blaming me). So why not wear navy and black? I reckon it looks quite chic really.

Look at this jumpsuit though. Isn't it gorgeous. For today's look I teamed up with Vestry and etailPr to show you how to glam up a jumpsuit.

I love jumpsuits, they are so effortlessly glam and easy to wear, not to mention so easy to take you from day to night. Info was wearing this for day time, I'd simply switch my heels for a pair of loafers and voila, sorted.

The V neck detailing on this is something that is flattering to everyone's shape. Personally, I wore this with a black bra underneath, but if I was wearing it out out, I'd take the bra off and go all out with the tit tape!

How do you feel about jumpsuits? Are they something you wear a lot of?

House Of Watches X Sekonda

Thursday 29 October 2015

One thing that is timeless (ha) is a watch. No matter what gender, or age, a good watch can make any outfit. This week I've teamed up with House of Watches and etialPr and found the perfect watch for me.

I was completely surprised with my choice, but lately, I can't seem to get enough of navy. Usually I'd turn my nose up to navy, but ever since I received these shoes through the post, I want everything in navy!

With a gold face and gold detailing, the navy really complements the look of this watch. It also has three cute little stones set at the 12 o'clock! Adorable.

I extremely like the thin straps as it keeps the watch more feminine. The large face on the watch is perfect. I used to always wear a small delicate watch, but as of late, the bigger the better, plus, I don't have to squint to try and tell the time.

I love wearing this watch with blue jeans, the navy straps really complement the entire outfit and help give that I just threw this on look.

What do you think of Sekonda Watches, are you a fan? I'd love to hear how you'd style this piece.

Winter Ready With New Look

Tuesday 27 October 2015

Shop My Look Here:

As temperatures drop you'll be seeing me dress in thicker and thicker clothing, until I probably look like a snow man. HA! I can't deal with the cold, but what I can deal with is winter jackets! This season I've already accumulated five new coats and we're only in October...Oops.

This one from New Look is to DIE FOR. Literally. I wore it our the other night for a meal with my friends and after one look they were all convinced that they needed to go and get their own!

The faux fur inside keeps me SOO warm and it just looks stunning with anything. Whether I'm going for a causal day of shopping, off to work or for a night out, it's the perfect coat for this winter. I especially love the colour on it, the camel acts as a great base colour which is neutral and allows me to build colour around it, just like with these boots.

By keeping my outfit super casual with denim and a white tee, I've added a splash of colour with my bright red boots *does a Dorothy heel click*. How do you feel about red shoes? I've never really been a fan but as I get older I see myself more willing to try new things, who knows, maybe by the end of the year I'll even own a pair of faux snake print boots!

Also, can I just mention how much I love my new sunglasses, fear not, I'll be doing an unboxing of them soon!

What do you all think of this look? How would you style this jacket?

How To Do Halloween As A Mermaid

Monday 26 October 2015

AHH! I have purple eyebrows!

As Halloween slowly creeps up on us (see what I did there) I thought I'd take inspiration from my love (obsession) with mermaids this year and go all out with a mermaid inspired look.

I'm not usually one for dressing up, but I thought this was the cutest look I've ever seen and I just couldn't resist popping my new Triangl Bikini on.

There's always been this debate about Halloween. Do you dress scary, or girly? Or do you try to blend the two? I for one, am always more girly than scary.

An old sixth form friend of mine has been doing face painting for a while and and when she approached me with wanting to collaborate for Halloween, I already knew what I wanted; mermaid.

This look is something that can be done at home by yourself or you can give Tash an email tash.facepainting@gmail.com to book an appointment .

Everything on my face (except foundation and lipsticks and fake eyelashes) are all done using face paint, craft gems and eyelash glue.

What's your thoughts on Halloween? Are you more girly or scary?

Lacey Wonders With Lipsy Michelle Keegan

Saturday 24 October 2015

Top Lipsy (*)| Trousers Zara (similar here) Shoes Just Fab (*) | Sunglasses Celine

There's something sensual and sexy about lace. I don't know if it's because I constantly feel like I should have been born a few centuries ago, or my love for all things lace, but I can't seem to get enough of it. I feel like there's no place for a lot of lace nowadays, unless you're getting married. The whole 2011-12 era of black lace body con dresses always scream horror to me that I feel it's better left to brides.

That said, I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this gorgeous lace top from Lipsy's Michelle Keegan Collection in my bloggers mail. I absolutely adore it and I feel it's easy to dress down with a denim skirt, or wear with these faux leather trousers for a more glamourous look. What do you think?

Usually I hate having any sign of bra straps or bras on show, and although the lace top is quite transparent from the back, I wore a nude coloured strapless bra which I think helped add a bit of definition to the outfit.

I think lace and leather is the perfect combination, not to mention that I've got that whole monochrome look going on, which is ALWAYS a good idea.
