Happy New Year

Another day, another year, another age and hopefully a little more wiser.

2013 has flown by and it leaves me feeling a little upset really. It feels like just yesterday that I spent my last christmas stressing over dissertations, holidays and what yo wear for new years eve.

2013, has had many ups and downs for me. Firstly I've had one of the most exciting years of my life. In July I graduated from a degree I loved with a fantastic grade. I turned 21, went on three amazing holidays and spent everyday with all the people I love. I don't think there could be much more anyone could want from a year.

I've felt happiness and love as well as pain and sorrow. I know that each day makes me stronger and each year I learn  new things that help me grow. Each experience in 2013 has made me the woman you see before you today, the happiness, the love and the pain are all things I've needed to experience to help me grow into a better person for 2014.

I never really make new years resolutions, but I've decided that this year my resolution is to stop thinking too much. This will allow me to spend more time focusing on myself and those whom I love dearly and not worrying about the little things that don't really matter so much.

I really have enjoyed 2013, I've met some amazing people, had some fantastic opportunities and tried to make the most of everything that was thrown at me.

My main aim for 2014 is to be so overwhelmingly happy, forgetting the little things and finding a job that I love. What do you wish 2014 will bring you?

I hope you all start the year on a high and are all happy, healthy and loving!

Lots of Love

Christmas Day Outfit- 3

Dress- Asos £38, Shoes- Kurt Geiger £195
Bracelet- Monica Vinader £85

This dress from Asos is a definite show stopper. The gold and black create a festive feel.
Black suede point shoes are bang on trend at the moment and they look extremely classy and classic. I decided a friendship bracelet with black and gold would be a great way to add a little detail to the outfit.

Theres only one week left until christmas. I hope you have all got your outfits and presents ready. Make sure you post your christmas outfits for me to see.

Outfit of the day- 12/12/13

Keeping it simple today, I decided to chuck on a middie dress and keep accessories minimal. Found this really cheap dress in Primark and I couldn't resist.

Have a fabulous weekend

Christmas Day- Outfit 2

Dress- French Connection £79,
Boots- Zara £75,
Messenger Bag- Zara £29.99

I apologise that this post is a little late, its just I've been working and haven't been able to get round to it.  So without further delay heres my second christmas outfit I'm considering.

Keeping it simple this week, why don't you try a jersey dress this year? I'm in love with this French Connection one. The ombre and cut out dress is sure to be the best thing around the dinner table, (after mums delicious food of course ;) .) Make sure you jazz the outfit with a splash of colour, may it be your handbag or some jewellery. I'm also lusting over these heeled chelsea boots, I mean, patent, chelsea boots and with a comfortable heel...whats not to love right?
Have a fantastic week my loves.

Lots of Love

Sunday Catchup- December 2

Hello my loves, just over two weeks left until Christmas. I can't believe how quickly this year has gone. It's almost 2014. Don't worry I'm not going to do a yearly catchup just yet haha. But I will mention that the last few weeks of buildup towards Christmas has been amazing. I've already bought and wrapped a few presents just got to get something for my parents and I'm all set for Christmas Day.

This year feels kind of strange. We haven't had a cold cold winter yet so it feels strange and I haven't quite gotten into the Christmas spirit. I feel like its kind of sprung up on me. Nevertheless I always find a way to be prepared for anything. This year I feel like doing Christmas different.

I love spending Christmas Day with my family, having a massive breakfast,  helping my mum prepare dinner, having way too much to eat and playing Christmas games with them. How do you like spending Christmas Day? Do you have any Christmas traditions with your family?

I feel like this time of the year everything in life gets side tracked for one special day. People get into so much debt, they run short of cash and find themselves paying for Christmas a month or two down the line. This year make sure you're wise and careful with how you spend your money and time.

Christmas isn't about gift, it's about spending time with your family. I'm not a Christian and I do not celebrate the religious values if Christmas but it's one of the few days that my family get to spend time together and I find that that's the most important thing.

This year, I've decided I'm only buying one gift for everyone in my house and will focus more on spending time together and making memories that will last for ever. It's not about who buys the biggest or most expensive gifts, but those who sit down for a warm meal with the ones they love.

Have a lovely week my darlings!
