OOTD: Black Is The New Black

Tuesday 28 October 2014

Dress Missguided | Cardigan H&M | Booties Zara | Bag Brandy Melville | Sunglasses Celine

As my photographer is away I haven't been able to upload any new photos for a while so I decided to take my tripod out and start snapping in the back of the garden.

I don't know about you but days where I don't want to dress up I love slipping on a simple black dress and leaving accessories to a minimal.

I really like the colour grey at the moment and am always trying to incorporate it into my outfits lately. So teaming the black dress with a grey cardigan gives the look more of a casual day time look. Keeping my hair in a ponytail makes it a really casual and girlie.

Don't forget to comment and share this look if you love it as much as I do.

OOTD: Khaki Skirt

Monday 20 October 2014

Skirt Missguided | Top Topshop | Leather Coat Zara | Bag Michael Kors

Every guy who's seen this skirt has referenced it to a school skirt, and I say why not. I am so in love with this skirt, from the colour to the length it cuts at.

The colour khaki is really in at the moment and looks great with black or white.

I've chosen to wear a simple black vest top and jazz the outfit with some black suede points and a leather jacket.

Great for the office or for date night.

OOTD: Watching The Ducks

Top Missrebel | Jeans Zara | Trainers Converse | Jacket River Island | Sunglasses Celine
Sunglasses Case Celine

After a hectic few days, I wanted to spend my Saturday relaxing with good company. If you know where I am comment down below.

This stylish and comfortable outfit is something that you can just throw on together.

I am obsessed with ripped jeans and have a ray in many different colours.

If you can’t justify buying a pair of ripped jeans, simply make your own by slashing a pair of old jeans you don’t wear anymore.

Let me know if you’d like me to make a video or a post on how to make your own ripped jeans.

These jeans are from Zara.

I was a little disappointed after the first wearing. The slashes in the jeans ripped (ironic I know) and ended up hanging down one side, which made them look really unattractive. However I took a pair of scissors and decided to chop the little strays off and I believe I’ve got an even better pair now.

To achieve this comfy look simply add a pair of simple white converses and a white tank top.

Simple, yet affective.

OOTD: Zara Blues

Top Topshop | Trousers Zara | Heels Zara | Coat/ Blazer Zara | Bag Michael Kors

As the weather gets colder it's useful to always brighten your day by adding splashes of colour into a 'boring' outfit.

As I recently bought these gorgeous Zara heels and have a coat/blazer to match I could t resist digging into my spring wardrobe and brining it out for another season.

When shopping, you should always be looking for things that can get you threw a few seasons.

Fashionable items are great, but I believe it's best to invest in key items and to spend a little bit more on the heavy duty parts of your outfit like shoes, bags and coats.

(Ps I always keep a can of deodorant in my bag as well as perfume)

Top Missrebel Skort Missrebel | Blazer Missrebel | Booties Zara | Bag Primark | Necklace Zara

I am so excited to be working with the lovely brand Missrebel. It has got to be one of the cheapest brands around at the moment, that still maintains style and quality at the heart of its products.

I am so in love with this two piece top and Skort and couldn't wait to wear it.

As my blog is working with Missrebel, I'm supper dooper excited to share my coupon code which allows any of my lucky readers to receive 10% off your orders. Simply type the code TERAL10 and start saving. The code runs out at the end of the year, so go crazy.

I've kept this outfit super simple by simply keeping the look monotone with a dash of pastel blue with the addition of a clutch.

The make up is clean and has an emphasis on the lips as my hair is up.

OOTD: 60s Dress

Friday 10 October 2014

Dress Primark | Leather Jacket Zara | Boots Zara | Bag Zara | Sunglasses Gucci

I never really like having my hair up in a ponytail (especially a low one) but with some tumblr and Instagram inspiration I embraced the style and it looks amazing with this dress.

The dress from Primark (£10) looks fab with opaque tights, bare legs, dressed up or dressed down. I've worn it both for work and for a night out with the girls.

What I like about this dress is that it's quite lose yet tight in all the right places, making it one of the most flattering dresses I've worn in ages. It also has a strange aztec/ 60s feel too it and I can't get enough of it.

I've had this leather jacket two seasons now and I still love it as much as the first day I bought it, it looks so elegant and goes with any look.

This look is easily achieved with a statement dress. Keep it casual with accessories and you'll be sorted.

OOTD: Textures

Thursday 9 October 2014

All items Zara

I've been super busy today and have been working on some new exciting things for my blog but I thought I'd upload a quick snap of todays outfit.

I've never really liked the look of fur, but this year I'm obsessed (faux of course).

I love winter as you really get to experiment with different textures and layers. I've got denim, knitwear, leather and fur. Layering is key.

I generally try to keep colours minimal but todays outfit was a mix max. However they all work together as they are all different materials.

Why don't you try experimenting with different textures and send me a picture at #teralstextures

OOTD: Don't Tell 'Em

Monday 6 October 2014

Top Primark | Jeans Topshop (DIY) | Boots Zara | Jacket River Island | Sunglasses Celine
Bag Brandy Melville | Necklace Ebay

I've been working really hard the last week and haven't managed to post an outfit of the day as such but I am always on Instagram so make sure you follow me for quick little snaps of what I'm wearing.

I have wanted this jacket for ages but never managed to go into the store, when I thought it's such a beautiful jacket I need to order it online. The day after I did, it was sold out everywhere. It was meant to be.

I am so in love with this jacket. The colour is to die for and I've never been a fan of fur until this A/W and this is a great mix of faux leather and faux fur.

As I wanted to focus this post on my new jacket, I have kept the rest of the outfit simple. Black and taupe look amazing and creates a great base to work on.

I love experimenting with new lip colours, you never know what will look good on until you actually try it. I'm wearing Mac Captive, a dark raspberry ( a colour I never thought would suit my skin tone) and have kept the rest of the face simple, with a small cat eye.
