Khaki And Tan

Tuesday 30 August 2016

I know what you're thinking... another playsuit. I know. I'm obsessed. But I can't help it; look how pretty!

Playsuits are my summer go deal with it ha! I'm not going to mention why I love playsuits so much again as I've already said so here, and here. But I will say why I love this one so much!

Firstly the colour! The contrast between the khaki and my skin tone is absolutely perfect. I feel like khaki has really helped make me look like I am glowing.

I love the way this is just so easy to wear. The low cut looks so flattering and the cut out detailing at the back makes the playsuit that bit more interesting.

I've teamed it with these gorgeous pom pom sandals and I couldn't have been happier with the way it looks.

Are you as diehard about playsuits as I am? Just me? Ok... Let me know how you style your playsuits.

Gingham Dress

Sunday 28 August 2016

Gingham. It's something that comes in and out of style every few years. It's not normally my style as I don't like wearing a lot of print, but I couldn't get enough of this one. I love everything about it. From the length to the cut out detailing it is everything I want a summer dress to be.

The dress has a really light feel to it so it's perfect for summer days where you are travelling and sight seeing. The only thing that makes this dress a little uncomfortable is the tie detailing. It's hard to wear with a bra so that's something to consider if you don't like going braless.

What do you think of this dress?

How To Pick An Occasion Dress For Holiday

Friday 26 August 2016

For those of you who have been following me for a while know that I love a good occasion dress. As someone who has a VERY large family and a bunch of really good friends, there is always an occasion to dress up for.

Depending on where and what the occasion it tends to influence what I want to wear for the occasion. As I was going away on holiday I wanted something light and airy. Something that wasn't tight and something that was super elegant.

For me, when the summer months come I hate wearing anything too tight, I hate wearing bras and I sure as hell don't like having to wear anything too fidily!

This Samsoe dress is super comfortable and is great for an occasion abroad, or one back in England. I kept the look super simple by wearing hardly any jewellery, just my regular bracelets I never really take off. I could have added a simple or in fact even a statement necklace, but I felt this would change the look I was going for.

The light and aireyness of the dress made me feel like Aphrodite walking through the streets of Cyprus (that is where she's from).

Do you like wearing long occasion dresses or are you more of a midi dress kinda gal?

How To Style Playsuits

Wednesday 24 August 2016

We all know how much of a sucker I am for playsuits just see here , well yep, I wasn't lying. This beautiful berry coloured playsuit is something that just looks amazing (especially with a tan).

As you have probably noticed, I don't really wear my hair up. I never really have but this was a super hot day and long hair and hot weather really do not mix! I also felt like the choker detailing was so beautiful that I didn't want my hair covering it.

I've teamed my playsuit with a pair of black suede sandals but it can easily be switched for a pair of amazing flat sandals in either black or a taupey grey. What do you think?

Detailed Denim

Monday 22 August 2016

When walking around the streets in North Cyprus looking for different locations I happened to come across a lot of stray cats that just wouldn't leave me alone to take some pictures, so I just gave up and ended up having a lot of pictures with cats in them.

One thing I adore about summer outfits are denim shorts. I feel like they are great for a lot of different occasions and can take you from day to night.

This amazing pair from Zara are literally EVERYTHING right now. I'm not usually a fan of crazy outfits, I go for more subtle styles, but I fell in love with this pair. I especially love the eye on it. It reminds me of the evil eye. In turkish culture, the evil eye protects you from any evil that wishes you harm and I feel like it just really fit in well with the whole look. Are you a fan of detailed shorts or are you a more classic kind of gal?

On another note, I have just updated the layout on my blog, so I have linked all the items below. So if you're interested in any of the items I am wearing, just look below.
