Three Things I Love- 30/07/13

Tuesday 30 July 2013

Well my darlings heres my list of three things I'm loving this week (today certainly isn't one as I got absolutely drenched in the rain this morning. My fault really for not bringing my umbrella. But I really thought I wouldn't get caught haha.)

1- My shu uemura cleanser. Last week my skin was absolutely disgusting. I felt really yukky and felt like the clinique cleanser i had gone back to using wasn't working this time round and was making me break out. So I went to Selfriges where my cousin absolutely slated me and told me to go to shu uemura and get a new cleanser (he hates clinique). So after talking to the lady about my skin type she recommended the fresh (pink) cleansing oil and can I just say its absolutely amazing. I will do a full review (soon) but I instantly felt like my skin felt better, my pores are smaller and doesn't feel as oily any more, hurrah!

2- I'm loving this song, it's really putting me in the summer mood and I can't wait to go on holiday.

3- I'm loving the colour mint again. Yesterday I was sitting on the train and as I was looking at my nails  I noticed that I was completely colour coordinated. Coincidence? I think not. I'm still not sure if I'm happy about this or not. Why dont you let me know what you think about match match.

Catch Up- 29/07/13

Monday 29 July 2013

So I'm doing my Sunday catchup on a Monday... awkward but I was not feeling up to blogging yesterday. After a heavy night out on Saturday all I wanted to do was eat and sleep.

So last week was amazing, interning working, cheeky few purchases from Misguided and she umuera and a very late birthday surprise from my girlies.

They planned a brilliant night out for me and all made me feel so so special. So thats fives cakes and three parties, thats the only acceptable way to celebrate a 21st right? I must admit I am an extremely lucky girl to have such amazing people who would do anything for me and I really do hope that people are lucky enough to a friendship group they can rely on. It's truly special to have friends that know you so well they can plan such things for you.

It's now my last week interning and I feel quite sad about it. I really enjoy keeping busy and have no idea what I'm going to do after. But hey ho, on to bigger things. I've truly had an amazing time networking and gained so much experience its unreal and I can not thank the lady I'm interning for enough.

Just over a week left until I go on holiday and I haven't even started my holiday shop. Strangely enough the thing I'm most excited about is my holiday beauty buys. I'm an absolute beauty junkie and love trying new products and am keen to keep my skin clean and healthy and protected from the sun. I'm actually so excited about that. Going in to my local boots and going crazy is so much fun... sad I know. It's the little things that make me smile.

I hope you've all had an amazing weekend. Now lets have a fantastic week!

Lots of Love

Graduation OOTD- July 18th

Friday 26 July 2013

Hello my darling, I'm sorry this post has been rather delayed but I was waiting to find the time to edit all my photos into a video for you so I hope I am forgiven.

Heres the video and a few snaps of the day. If you've been to university you know just how magical this day is. It's like your first pay cheque but you've been waiting for it for (at least) three years. The look on your parents/loved ones faces are just priceless.

But yes on to the fashion side of it. My outfit was always going to be designed around my shoes. So I opted for a beige colour to match the tan nubuck and gold in my Choos. I hope you like the outfit as much as I do.

REVIEW: Bobbi Brown Corrector

Tuesday 23 July 2013

This is rather a 'thing that I love' instead of the 'three things I love' post as I felt that this product just needed to be concentrated on.

Now seeing as this is my third purchase of this product, I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it before. I absolutely adore this little tub of magic cream.

If like I you also have unwanted dark circles ladies please give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

As I usually wear a powder foundation, I apply this product first. Some days when I feel brave, I wear this product alone with no foundation or mascara.

What this magic cream does is 'correct' the skin tone under the eye. I use the colour bisque. It's a salmon/nude colour and it instantly wipes away the dark bags under your eye and neutralises them making it appear brighter and leaving a neutral  base you will be able to apply concealer to.

I can not rave about this product enough. I absolutely love it and use it on a daily basis. The creamy texture doesn't dry out your eyes but I do recommend going over with some setting powder to stop it from creasing.

At only £18.50 it lasts three to four months depending on how often you use it.

Lots of Love

As most of you know I don't really shop in Primark but the other day I found this gorgeous dress and I couldn't pass it up, for only £13 I know this dress will get me through the summer. I also love teaming cheaper dresses with expensive shoes and bags as I feel you can get away with more this way.
