A few weeks back I went out with the amazing photographer Sandra Vijandi (who I adore) and we decided to take some different kind of images for my blog.

As a little girl my dream was to be a model, and when I realised that would never happen, I kind of just grew out of it, so it was nice to get the chance to do an editorial style photo shoot for once.

This is the first outfit that we have taken.

I decided to start of with one of the more casual every day outfits as this is something that I can be seen wearing everyday. The leather and suede combination is my favourite.

I teamed the whole outfit with a chunky knit cardigan as the weather in London is generally freezing. I'm that girl that's forever complaining that she's cold (sorry not sorry) so I tend to always have something warm and fuzzy close by.

I love this Calvin Klein bag as I feel it adds colour and definition to any outfit whatever the season.

What do you think of this look? Are you enjoying this type of photography on the blog?

Just Fab Clothing Launch with Rosie Fortescue

Tuesday 29 September 2015

If you haven't heard by now (where have you been hiding) JustFab have finally launched a clothing range online! How exciting is this! You might want to have a sneaky look at a few items that I've been styling here and here.

Today was their official launch at the Covent Garden hotel where they displayed some of the gorgeous pieces that is already online here. They will be doing the same offers as the shoes so keep an eye out for these. JustFab have just become a one stop shop for all your needs, for affordable, great quality items.

Rosie Fortescue (At Fashion Forte), not only the JustFab Ambassador but a fashion icon, was there to tell me a little bit about her own style and collaborating with JustFab.

Being an extremely busy person, Rosie says she never has a day off, but those days where she can dress down a little she prefers to wear something comfortable. She says she loves the gillet she is seen wearing and tends to pair it with comfortable jeans and a pair of stunning trainers or flat shoes. Being stylish and comfortable is a must for Rosie. She also said that it's so easy to take this look from day wear to night, pop on a silk blouse with a pair of leather trousers and some high heeled ankle boots and you're set for the autumn winter nights out.

Although Rosie is extremely busy, her ambassador work takes priority over anything else. It's great to meet people who give 110% to their commitments and show their dedication in all that they do. It really inspires me when I meet great people that are doing great things.

Rosie's jewellery brand will be available 19th October, I sure can't wait to get my hands on them!

What do you guys think of this one stop shop? Will this be your new go to shop?

LW Lashes Review

Monday 28 September 2015

Every now and then I tend to dabble in the odd false eyelashes. It's not something I do regularly, as firstly, I don't have the time to do it everyday, and secondly, I find my eyelashes to be quite long themselves. But I enjoy wearing them for special occasions such as weddings, or blog events where I know there will be a lot of photos taken.

So I decided to try the Lauren's Way Fabulous Flutter Lashes that EtailPr sent me. I have to say I was impressed. At first, they felt a bit stiff so after playing around with them for a little while I was able to make them bendier (is that even a word) and was able to manoeuvre them around my eyes how I wanted them to.

The Flutter Lashes are perfect for everyday wear, as they are light and have a criss cross effect that's quite subtle, resulting in thick lashes at the bottom and long thin lashes towards the tip. I really like the thick effect at the bottom as it tends to mean you don't need to faff around as much with liquid eyeliner (my nemesis).

If I am honest, I didn't really like the glue, I felt like I had to use a lot because of how tough the lashes were to start with, they weren't sticking to my lashes line, but after using a lot of glue and playing around with them I managed to have the results I wanted.

The lashes cost £6.95, however they currently have an offer where you can buy two for £10, four for £20 *adds all to basket and checks out*.

Are you a fan of fake eyelashes? Have you ever used them? What was your experience like?

London Fashion Week Antics SS16

Sunday 27 September 2015

This Season This Is Teral got invited to London Fashion Week. I know! I was so excited to receive my first few invitations to the shows that I went and raided every shop I could find for the perfect outfits.

Fashion week is like being in a different world. I've been to fashion week before; I was fortunate enough to get a spare ticket here and there while interning, but this was the first season that I myself have been invited to attend as This Is Teral, fashion blogger, so you can imagine my face looked exactly like the extremely large smiley face emoji.

Day one was super busy for me. I started by visiting the Pritch London showroom at the Sanctum Soho Hotel, where I had the opportunity to see the gorgeous leather pieces, and was lucky enough to get to try a few different looks on.

After the show room I went over to the Wearisma The Lounge Showroom where I was able to chill out, chat to bloggers whilst having a little touch up on my hair and make up, not forgetting the vital refueling for in between shows.

Finally I took a taxi up to Hackney to go see the Anna Popovich show, where I fell in love with the Laura dress (fifth dress down). It was a small intimate show where I got to talk to Anna for a little while also mixing with some friends and family of the designer.

Day 3 consisted of me going to Avant Premiere in order to talk and view the new collections of small brands. You all know how much I love working with up and coming brands so it was really nice to get the chance to meet many new designers that I absolutely adore.

I then made my way to the Gyunel show which was insane. I was escorted to my seat with a little goody bag while I waited for the show to start. The designs were all influenced by the Turkish Evil Eye (which protects you from evil) so being a Turkish Cypriot, I was totally into the show and absolutely can not get enough of her pieces.

Here's to the next season, hopefully I'll manage to get into a few more shows next season. But for now, check out the rest of the images from the show.
