Brooks & Brooks Hair Re-Vamp

Monday 14 September 2015

* This is a sponsored post *

Last week I was invited down to Brooks & brooks to get a lil pick me up done to my hair. Upon arrival I was greeted by a welcoming receptionists who offered me something to drink a long with a vary of different snacks.

After a short while Kayleigh came and took my to my seat where we discussed what would look best for my face shape and hair. We decided to keep the length and colour but give it a little trim as well as adding lots of gradual layer about two inches above from the bottom.

After a few days after my initial consultation, I went back to Brooks & Brooks and Kayleigh and I had a lovely little catch up to make sure that I was still happy with everything.

Darcy took me over to get my hair washed and gave me one of the best head massages I've ever received in a salon. I'm such a sucker for any type of massage, so if you offer, I'm more than likely to say yes! It always surprises me when I'm asked if I would like one, as I just expect everyone to always want one, or am I the only one?

 Kayleigh used the Redken Extreme Anti-Snap and the L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Pli Thermo-Modelling Spray which smelt just like those little love heart sweeties I can't get enough of.

After the cut, I was given a loose curl blow dry, which allowed all my new layers to bounce around showing off the new volume in my hair. I'm not a fan of a straight blow-dry, I prefer my blow-dry to have more of an oomph to it, that's why you'll hardly ever see my hair straight, despite it being my boyfriends favourite style on me.

If you're ever around Holborn (or not) make sure you make yourself an appointment with Brooks and Brooks, I can assure you, you will feel so relaxed in the professional staffs hands.

Have you ever been to Brooks & brooks? What was your experience like?
