Dress Another8 | Jacket Topshop | Booties Zara (Similar here) | Lipstick Mac Captive

I’m so in love with this dress. I mean, what’s not to? It’s got these gorgeous purple metallic undertones that I super love at the moment.

Being born in the 90s I never got the chance to dress up like this so I jumped to the chance when the girls at Another8 said they were sending this out to me. I love experimenting with different eras, fashion is always looking back in order to go forward, so why can’t we dress with inspiration from the past?

I thought dark eyes would compliment the dress and decided to wear a darkish purple lip. And because I went so dark with the make up I went for a black leather coat, and black leather booties… Love

I’ve got direct links to everything just above so make sure you check them out.

What was your favourite 90s look? How would you have styled this dress?

70s Wish List

Wednesday 25 February 2015

London fashion week is over, and I have to admit, this has been my favourite in a while. I love everything they showcased this season and happily I’m willing to embrace that the 70s trend is back!

When I think of 70s automatically I get this image of big fluffy hair, flared jeans and camel suede. Although I love this look, there’s so much more to appreciate with the 70s trend.

I’ve decided to make your lives easier by rounding up my favourite pieces from Missguided, Topshop and Asos.

If you’re worrying how to style yourselves, don’t worry, I’ve just been on a massive 70s splurge and will be posting a few outfits in the coming week. But I’ll leave you with this, when in doubt, go for camel, paisley and team with black.

But until then happy shopping.

Make sure you leave me a comment letting me know your favourite pieces and how you're rocking that 70s trend.

My Everyday Face Make-Up Products

Tuesday 24 February 2015

I'm a big fan of the natural makeup look. I love keeping everything simple and experimenting with different lipstick colours.

It's been highly requested that I do a post on my daily make up so here it is. These are the products I currently apply on my face daily; to take me from zombie, to something mildly more attractive (I hope).

I've always thought if you've got a great base, you can always create a new look by switching it up with a different coloured lipstick or changing your eye make up.

I've only recently bought the Este Laudre foundation but I'm obsessed. There are a range of different colours and different finishes which can be tailored around your skin type. This is probably the first time I've ever used liquid foundation and you can find out why in my post about the Anti Ageing Press Event here.

Another staple item in my make up bag is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. This palette (for me) is more casual. It's great for when you're in a rush in the morning and because the colours are so light it's harder to make any mistakes. It's literally my go to pallet. I usually use the shades Strange, Limit, Nooner and a small amount of Darkside on a daily basis. But it's also great for a night out as it has all the glitter and darker colours.

I also use a tiny bit of nude eyeliner on my water line just to brighten my eyes.

I always switch up my lipstick depending on my mood but today I felt a little vampy and went for Mac Captive.

What's your go to make up? Do you have a particular product that you have to wear every day?

Jumper borrowed | Jeans Missguided | Heels Topshop

This post was all about the shadows. Ever since I was a little girl I have been fascinated with the way shadows form and I thought it would be quite cool for a blog post. In the shadows I look like a seal wearing sunglasses.

Once again this jumper is something I stole from the boy. I find men's clothing much more comfortable than women's. I teamed it with a pair of skinny jeans.

How do you rock your boyfriends jumper?

Is It Summer Yet?

Tuesday 17 February 2015

Top Primark | Skirt Missguided (similar) | Jacket Topshop | Shoes Missguided | Watch Olivia Burton Socks Topshop (similar)  | Bag Topshop | Sunglasses Celine

The weather today was absolutely divine. The sun was shining and I actually needed to use my sunglasses, unlike some of my recent winter posts. (Here's a secret us bloggers need sunglasses for for those days we can't be bothered to do any make up.)

I decided to wear my favourite Missguided skirt today. I wanted to go out bare legged but I wasn't quite that brave yet, and I didn't want to wear tights so I compromised with over the knee socks. I've never been a big fan of over the knee socks but they've grown on me. What's your thoughts on them?

I'm currently obsessed with this must have bomber jacket from Topshop. When my brother saw me wearing it he was so shocked as my style is usually really girly, but I think with this blog I am learning to experiment with different styles more.

The jacket comes in navy and Khaki, and after much deliberation I decided to go for the black as it goes better with my wardrobe. I'm loving blacks, whites and greys atm. This outfit is a perfect display of it as it incorporated all those colours.

This outfits got me lusting for the weather to get better so I can start rocking my spring summer wardrobe (my heaven).

What's your thoughts on this look? Would you rock a bomber jacket?
