My Skin
Throughout my whole teenage- adult life, I've always thought I have oily skin; I would always end up with a shiny forehead, constantly trying to dry my skin out. In my teenage years I had horrible acne riddled skin. As time went on, the acne was gone and I started to get dry patches along my forehead and around the mouth. But still I would exfoliate daily and use a load of natural oils as moisturisers.
Lloyds Pharmacy
I have been told to stop doing everything straight away and sort it out. I was lucky enough to have my skin checked and tested for elasticity, hydration and sebum levels by Lloyds pharmacy at the event. As soon as I sat down the beautician asked what my skin was like and I answered, oily, and she looked sceptical. Well according to the machine, my skin was super dry, dehydrated and had no elasticity. Shocker. My mind was blown; now I’ve had completely change my routine. I suggest that everyone goes and gets their skin tested at least once in your life, just so you know that what you're doing is beneficial and that you're not actually damaging your skin like I was. You’ll be able to have this test done at the anti-ageing show in May. (I’ve got all the details down below)
PhFormula
After this I went over to PhFormula and had an anti-ageing (no peel, peel) facial. It was amazing. It was so relaxing, hydrating
and I received a lot of information. There was a small amount of acid applied
to the skin, then the mask, then a CC (colour corrector) cream which left my skin absolutely
glowing. I was given a recovery kit, with a load of different creams to make sure my skin stayed hydrated after.

Also to my surprise, Pam, the lady performing the facial was actually a Nurse Practitioner in Aesthetics who asked me if my ‘eyebrows were real?’ To her surprise I said I was all natural and she kept asking, no fillers, or tattooed make up? And my favourite part of the evening was when she said my nose was a roman nose, ‘perfect and beautiful’. HA, in your face to all the boys in school who used to tease me about my nose. Surgically speaking, my nose is PERFECT (I still don’t agree but whatever) If you know me, you know that my nose is probably the least favourite part of my body.
I would like to say thank you to Kelsey for taking my photos throughout my treatment and making me feel so relaxed. Also thank you to Pam for performing the facial, she was very kind and gave me a lot of information. As you can see from the before and after shots, my skin looks hydrated, plumped and a lot fresher than before. Other brands at the event
Back to the show, there were lots of different other brands such as Elemis, NuSkin and they have all given me lots of products to try out which I will be reviewing for you all.
Finally, there was a beauty supplement which I have agreed to trial for 30 days. It’s called RejuveMe. It’s full of green tea and lots of other ingredients that I will explain in my review. I've been trying to find my perfect mixture with the sample I was given and I'll let you all know in my review once my 30 days are over.
