Public Desire: Thigh High Boots

Monday 24 November 2014

OH MY! I can't express how excited I am that these arrived in the post this morning.

I've been looking at these beauties on Instagram for ages, but every time I've gone on a website I've never been able to purchase them, they were always sold out.

I've never bought anything from Public Desire before, but I definitely will from now on, their shoes are a great price and are totally on trend and they arrived earlier than I expected them too, who doesn't love early deliveries?

I can't wait to style these gorgeous boots. Be sure to keep an eye out for my outfits of the days because they definitely will be a key item this winter.

Sizing wise, I usually wear a size seven, and fortunately they came to size, I've even got enough room to put on a pair of thick socks this winter, without my feet looking like clown feet.

OOTD: Leather and Fur

Fur Gillet Zara | Jumper Asos | Leather Leggings Zara | Boots Russell&Bromley
Bag Brandy Melville | Hat Asos | Fur Bag Chain River Island

This weekend I decided to go to Roman Road market with a friend of mine. After a lot of shopping we came across this cute little canal and I couldn't resist taking a few photos for an outfit post.

I am so obsessed with these leather look trousers. I've always had a soft spot for black ones but this season I decided to embrace a taupe coloured pair and I haven't looked back since.

I've got my eye on the khaki ones too. Is it just me who does that? Or do you too become obsessed with a certain style and want to wear it to death, and buy it in as many colours that it comes in? Just me?

Leather and fur are always, and I mean ALWAYS are a perfect match. It looks so edgy and classy at the same time, you can't go wrong.

I teamed my trousers with a black turtle neck jumper, another thing I can't get enough of this season with a matching black felt hat. These types of hats always make me feel more elegant and it kept my hair dry all day.

Review: Rimmel London Provocalips

Thursday 20 November 2014

REVIEW: 5/5

I haven't done a beauty post in what seems like forever but I've finally got around to do one again. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed them...maybe some new YouTube videos are in order!

A few weeks ago I purchased the Rimmel London Provocalips 16HR in the colour 500 Kiss Me You Fool (I love lipstick names, don't you?) and haven't had a chance to try it until today.

I have to say I am really impressed. I've always loved Rimmel's Lipsticks, the colours are so vibrant and they stay just as well (if not better) than any luxury brands.

I applied it early this morning and have literally just taken it off just before I started writing this post.

After 11 hours my lips still looked like the picture above. Flawless, soft and most importantly, the colour had remained so vivid.

I was slightly skeptical, how would a lipstick not leave any traces? How will it stay on for so long? And will it leave my lips dry and flaky like lip stains normally do?

To my surprise my lips were so soft all day long, my lips were smooth and it looked as though I had just applied my lipstick (and no worrying about lipstick on your teeth!)

I also have to mention that when removing the lipstick it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. With a little bit of makeup remover and a little scrubbing it removed all traces of lipstick.

I will definitely be purchasing different colours in this range and I suggest that every woman does. I've got my eyes on the nude brown tone Make Your Move.

Imagine no more lipstick stains and as marketed (literally) kiss proof.

If you would like more reviews comment or message me on any of the links bellow.

Collaboration: Miss Luxe OOTD

Wednesday 19 November 2014

Jumpsuit Miss Luxe | Shoes Stuart Weitzman | Duster Jacket Miss Rebel | Necklace Primark | Sunglasses Celine

I'm so happy to be working with this lovely brand. Not only do they have some gorgeous pieces but they also spoilt me with a bag full of sweetie goodness, who doesn't love fashion and food. so thanks to the girls at Miss Luxe for those.

Now on to this jumpsuit. As soon as I saw it I was in love. The colour is perfect for this time of the year and it also has a lovely sash detailing that goes across the front and creates a V at the back. Adorable.

Although I've teamed this with black shoes, you can also team it with nude shades. Burgundy and nude always looks trendy.

I love jumpsuits as they are so versatile. You can wear them to work, then switch it up for a night out.

Be sure to check out their website here to see what other pieces they have. I have also been given a coupon code for you lucky reader simply type in Special10 at check out to receive 10% off of orders until the end of the year.

OOTD: Tartan Pencil Skirt

Monday 10 November 2014

Top Missguided | Skirt Missguided | Booties Zara | Bag Chanel

I've been a little obsessed with pencil skirts lately. I've just spent a fortune on a range of different coloured skirts, however this is the only one that is not a block colour.

I've got to admit, this was a bit riskaay for me, as tartan skirts always remind me of school skirts, but turns out this is now my favourite one.

I've kept my entire look simple, (something I love to do) and teamed a cropped polo neck jumper and black booties.

In order to stop the look from becoming too grungy, I decided to add my bright coral Chanel backpack. This creates a softer look, and who doesn't love a bright colour on a dull winters afternoon.

On a side note, I also am dying to mention that I will now be featured on Reprezent Radio Station 107.3 every friday lunchtime on the gorgeous Shahlaa's show. Make sure to listen out and let me know what you think.

OOTD: Winter Warmers

Sunday 2 November 2014

Jacket Zara | Jumper H&M | Faux Leather Trousers H&M | Booties Zara | Clutch Missguided

As the weather drops in temperature it's time to pull the old knitwear out from the back of the cupboard.

I decided to team this gorgeous H&M jumper that I bought a while back with some leather look trousers.

I love the clash of leather and knitwear think it looks so classy and keeps you warm at the same time.

I teamed the outfit with my pastel blue jacket (I can't seem to let go of the summer yet) and a rose gold 'Flawless' metallic clutch. Making it easy to take this look from day to evening.

If you're planning on going to the fireworks or somewhere quite muddy, swap the booties with flat boots and the look will still look great.

Kallima Spa at Hilton London Syon Park

Peace, tranquility and relaxation. Something that had been something but a dream ever since the summer came to an end. But to my surprise, I found it in the middle of london with a bunch of my friends.

I would have never thought I would receive the relaxation one usually find on holiday; that calm, peaceful nature where you can ultimately sit in silence and enjoy it.

After a long few weeks of non stop working, the girls and myself decided a spa break was needed and after a quick look on groupon we found a wonderful deal for a spa day with a champagne lunch including a facial and back massage. What's not to love?

We snapped this deal up as quick as we could and Friday we made our (long) journey up to Hilton London Syon Park.

Now I say long journey as there was a lot of traffic getting to and from but once you drive up towards the hotel all the hustle and bustle of London is forgotten. With animals either side of the scenic view you come a cross a castle and then finally, you arrive at Kallima Spa.

We split in to two groups of three, the first three had their hour long treatments whilst myself and the other two enjoyed the use of the spa facilities including a jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna and steam room (there is a gym as well but who really wants to work out when you're relaxing?)

The three who had their treatments first came and joined us looking so relaxed and flawless and we retreated upstairs for lunch and champagne.

A delicious burger and triple cooked chips later it was finally my turn for my treatments. I love a good massage, and I enjoyed it even more when the masuse used a lot of pressure especially on my back to get all those horrible knots out.

As for the facial, it wasn't exactly a facial, more like a cleanse and massage but it was still so relaxing. A few of the girls actually fell asleep whilst on the massuse chair.

The masuse had to prompt me a few times to actually get off the bed, something about spas give me that tranquility and I unexpectedly slow down and enjoy the calmness of everything.

After we had all finished our treatments we wanted to enjoy the spa area for the last time. My only concern was that by this time it was getting a lot busier, and unfortunately a lot louder. Families staying at the hotel brought their kids to the pools, people were laughing loudly and the minimal amount of beds were all occupied. With this we decided to go get changed and leave.

All in all I had an amazing time at Kallima Spa, there were however a few tiny things that disappointed me. The fact there was no refreshments around the spa, if you wanted anything you had to go upstairs to the main reception, the changing room was small and the six of us struggled to get ready at the same time.

If you do wish to go to this particular spa, I suggest you make sure you get there early and leave before 5 o'clock as thats when it starts to get busy, and also, bring your own water as it does get extremely hot.

Lots of Love
