Styling Belt Bags And Over The Knee Boots

Wednesday, 6 December 2017

It's officially the month of Christmas. This means one thing and one thing only. It's time to dress cosy AF! For me, this includes lots of jumper dresses and cute little bags.

This seasons must have trendy piece has got to be the belt bag. I am literally so obsessed with them. As I stated in my Zara Haul, I actually love the Gucci one, but as it's such an expensive piece for a very trendy piece, I've been on the hunt for a dupe, and I think I've found the perfect one.

Belt bags are so versatile and easy to wear. They're hands free and look so good. I am just obsessed. This one is slightly on the larger size of belt bags, and even comes with a cross the body strap. I've actually got my eyes on another one from Zara which is a little smaller.

As soon as winter hits, my favourite thing to whip out is a pair of over the knee boots. I adore this old pair from River Island as the heel is not too high and is perfect for wearing all day long. They look great with a cute girly outfit, some jeans or a nice chunky jumper dress.

How To Wear Red This Season

Monday, 27 November 2017

This season one of my favourite trends has got to be red. I find it so Christmassy and so snuggly. Can a colour be snuggly?

This red jumper was something that I recently picked up from a Zara haul I put up on my youtube channel you can find it here. I bought this jumper in a medium as I wanted it to be really loose and comfortable. I have since gone back to Zara and picked up a small in the beige colour. I just love everything about this jumper.

I find that a lot of people struggle with wearing red. It's quite a daring colour and it's in your face, but I think it's all down to perception. If you style it with black or white I find that it can look extremely elegant and more fashion forward than in your face.

I decided to pair this jumper with a pair of black leather look jeans. As the jumper is quite chunky and oversized, it's best to balance it out with a tighter bottom half, otherwise you end up looking like a total marshmallow. For me, winter means jeans and a nice chunky jumper to keep me warm. It's my winter go to and a fail safe outfit.

The reality is, I'm 99% sure I wouldn't usually wear heeled boots for a walk in the park, but for some strange reason it works (ok it doesn't but for the sake of the pictures it does).

How would you style red this season?

LFW Day Two

Saturday, 16 September 2017

This year, I decided to take London Fashion Week a lot easier. As I've been travelling a lot lately, and will be heading out again on Wednesday ( I think I've mentioned it enough times now) I didn't want to run myself down as I do every other season. So instead I am only going for a few days and I even took today (Saturday) off so that I could attend a wedding with my family.

I did however have a second outfit from yesterday that I thought you guys would love to see on me. It's something super different for me. Although I would be seen wearing each piece individually, however I decided to step out of my comfort zone and team them all together. But I think it worked.

I love the contrast between the lace with the sport luxe style jumper. It really shouldn't work, and for everyday I would probably stick out like a sort thumb but it is London Fashion Week at the end of the day and anything goes.

What would you wear to London Fashion Week if you had the chance?

LFW Day One

Friday, 15 September 2017

So I am back in London (for a few days) before my last summer vacation of the year. This summer seems to have just flown by for me as I have not spent that much time in the UK. That said, I've felt a little out of it with my blog.

But with it being London Fashion Week, I thought I'd get back into the swing of it with a few of my outfits from this season.

This first look was inspired by this fabulous lady I saw last season at LFW. She looked absolutely gorgeous and as a friend put it "when you dress like that you get invited to Burberry" So that's what I did. Alas, I didn't get the Burberry invite this year (again) but here's to positive thinking.

I went for a tailored suit in this stunning cherry red colour with nothing but a thermal tee on underneath...because London. With this look I thought I'd go for a sleek low ponytail as it helps keep the outfit the main focus.

Teaming the pants suit with gold and black accessories kept the entire outfit looking quite chic and oh so FASHUN!
