Allow me to reintroduce myself!
My name is Teral, and I've been an awful blogger! I haven't posted anything in almost 2 years and I've really stepped down from this whole world. But. I've missed it. I've really really missed writing. I started my entire career in social media as someone who loved writing and I'm really sad I gave up this part of my career.
The part of my world that started it all, but having taken off so much time, i've really learnt a lot about myself. I'm a super creative person, I love writing and I love having a creative outlet in the form of word.
I also love imagery, but my true passion is words. So I'm back. I'm not sure what I'll be divulging on here. I'm not sure how often I'll be writing, but what I can tell you is that it'll be authentically me. It'll be helpful, inspiring and it's sure to be a fun read!
I'm now at the ripe age of 31. I work as a Social Media Advocacy Manager for a heritage British brand. And that tends to spark up a lot of 'What's that?" questions. Essentially, I manage over 300+ employee run social media accounts, so I've still been working around social, just not the same way.
It's been a fun 2 years where I've really grown in my career, my style has changed and I just feel like a new person. I started my above role as a really timid, person who felt like their ideas were silly, to someone who has been single handedly been running the hugest employee advocacy programme in the UK, and if I do say so myself, bossing it.
I've always shyed away from my achievements, but one thing I've learnt is that you have to uplift yourself, and essentially PR yourself in order to get somewhere. And this was something I could never do with this blog. But I've changed now. The world has changed and here's to new beginnings!
