LFW Day Two

Saturday, 16 September 2017

This year, I decided to take London Fashion Week a lot easier. As I've been travelling a lot lately, and will be heading out again on Wednesday ( I think I've mentioned it enough times now) I didn't want to run myself down as I do every other season. So instead I am only going for a few days and I even took today (Saturday) off so that I could attend a wedding with my family.

I did however have a second outfit from yesterday that I thought you guys would love to see on me. It's something super different for me. Although I would be seen wearing each piece individually, however I decided to step out of my comfort zone and team them all together. But I think it worked.

I love the contrast between the lace with the sport luxe style jumper. It really shouldn't work, and for everyday I would probably stick out like a sort thumb but it is London Fashion Week at the end of the day and anything goes.

What would you wear to London Fashion Week if you had the chance?

How To Style Playsuits

Wednesday, 24 August 2016

We all know how much of a sucker I am for playsuits just see here , well yep, I wasn't lying. This beautiful berry coloured playsuit is something that just looks amazing (especially with a tan).

As you have probably noticed, I don't really wear my hair up. I never really have but this was a super hot day and long hair and hot weather really do not mix! I also felt like the choker detailing was so beautiful that I didn't want my hair covering it.

I've teamed my playsuit with a pair of black suede sandals but it can easily be switched for a pair of amazing flat sandals in either black or a taupey grey. What do you think?

Detailed Denim

Monday, 22 August 2016

When walking around the streets in North Cyprus looking for different locations I happened to come across a lot of stray cats that just wouldn't leave me alone to take some pictures, so I just gave up and ended up having a lot of pictures with cats in them.

One thing I adore about summer outfits are denim shorts. I feel like they are great for a lot of different occasions and can take you from day to night.

This amazing pair from Zara are literally EVERYTHING right now. I'm not usually a fan of crazy outfits, I go for more subtle styles, but I fell in love with this pair. I especially love the eye on it. It reminds me of the evil eye. In turkish culture, the evil eye protects you from any evil that wishes you harm and I feel like it just really fit in well with the whole look. Are you a fan of detailed shorts or are you a more classic kind of gal?

On another note, I have just updated the layout on my blog, so I have linked all the items below. So if you're interested in any of the items I am wearing, just look below.

High Waist Bikinis Making A Come Back

This summer the glorious high waisted bikini made its appearance again. No longer for those in love with the 40s, or ladies trying to cover their bellies, it's the bikini bottom that is flattering for every shape and size.

Like high waisted jeans, there is a big range of different styles when it comes to the high waisted bikini. I found this gorgeous set from Pretty Little Thing while it was sold out in my size and snapped it up as soon as it was re-stocked.

A few years ago, I'm talking like 6 years ago, I fell in love with the high waisted bikini and could only find one from La Senza (I don't even think that's still around today) and it was everything I could have ever wanted. It was a deep purple colour with a matching bra like bikini top. I remember family and friends looking at me like I was crazy for wearing them, but hey, who was ahead of their time... me! HA! I still have that set in my house back in Cyprus and even wore it this year.

The great thing about high wasited bikini are that they honestly look stunning on any shape and age. It's perfect for those looking to hide any lumps and bumps they have, while still wanting to look chic, and they look great on a slimmer figure. I can't wait to see what's popular for next season!

How do you feel about high wasited bikinis?

When I go on holiday, I tend to become so low maintenance. I want to wear outfits that I can just slip on, and bras...what are those? I've never been anywhere that I've found as hot as Cyprus, so when I pack my suitcase I always look to bring items that don't cling to my skin, something that is light and airy while still looking stunning.

When I found this dress I knew this would be perfect for that. I wore this while exploring the city, but it can easily be worn for a night out. As once again, in Cyprus, I very rarely wear heels, I want to be comfortable and worrying about my feet swelling up is not relaxing AT ALL!

What do you think of this slip dress? I fell in love with the eagle print. It's so different to something that I would normally wear that I knew I had to style it in a way that I felt comfortable in. I teamed the dress with my favourite pom pom sandals, but I can imagine wearing the dress in London with a pair of trainers or boots to keep it really casual.
