How To Nail The White Dress

Friday, 12 May 2017

White dresses are something that a lot of ladies tend to shy away from. I don't know why. But myself included, I tend to only wear a white dress on a special occasions such as my birthday, graduation (if I ever get married). What is this social stigma that white makes you look fat. Is it that it draws a lot of attention to ourselves? Whatever it is, it's time to change.

As you all know, I like to do as I preach so I was on the hunt for the perfect white dress for spring/ summer. And I think you'll all love this piece just as much as I do! I've also got another blog post coming soon where I show you all how to style this piece differently.

When the core of your outfit is white, it's so easy to play with colours. You can go completely monochrome, or you can add some vibrant colours, pastels, or go completely neutral. The decision is totally up to you and what you feel comfortable with.

As I am currently obsessed with these red mules, I knew I had to team them with this dress. For me, teaming white with a bright colour is something I love to do. I can't wait to wear this dress all over spring summer as I have so many option on how to style it.

Denim And Crochet

Top Topshop* | Skirt Topshop* | Sandals New Look | Sunglasses LeSpecs

I didn't manage to post this look last week as I was extremely busy, but here it is. Better late than never.

I'm so glad I finally got my hands on one of these Topshop Skirts. I loved them in the suede and now I can't get enough in the denim, it's so practical and cute. But most of all I adore this crochet halter neck top. Denim and crochet is my favourite 70s style and I will definitely be rocking this all summer long.

Which is your favourite Topshop skirt in this shape?

How To Smarten Ripped Jeans

Saturday, 10 January 2015

Jumper H&M | Jeans Zara | Shoes Topshop | Bag Chanel | Watch Olivia Burton

So after an amazing holiday, here is my first outfit post of 2015. I love mixing elegance with comfort and thats exactly what I've done with this outfit.

I've had loads of people asking me how to wear smarten ripped jeans and here's how.

I've got my gorgeous strappy sandals from Topshop and paired them with the most casual jeans I own. Light denim, ripped and baggy, something you don't normally think to pair with black heels, but it creates a edgy casual look. Something that's super cool at the moment.

As the weather is still absolutely freezing, and I'm in love with turtle neck jumpers I had to add them all together to create this outfit.

What do you all think? Do you like the ripped jeans with heels look? If not here is a more casual look.

Lots of Love

OOTD: I Know I'm Not The Only One

Thursday, 25 September 2014

Trousers Missguided | Top Topshop |  Blazer Primark | Shoes Russell &Bromley | Bag Michael Kors | Necklace Turkey

A year after graduation I still haven’t found my dream job, but as the title says I know I’m not the only one.

Recent figures show that unemployment statistics have risen, yet we are still to see the results of the majority getting into a job that they have studied.

There have been many blog posts about unemployment and the (depression) stress that comes along with it, but people are yet to give solutions.

Number one is GET YOURSELF A JOB. Anything to get the ball going. Something preferably paid, but we all know that the best jobs require slave labour. Making endless amounts of cups of tea, food runs in the rain and hours and hours in the ‘cupboard’ cleaning and sorting clothes to go back to Pr companies- Closer Magazine I’m looking at you. But reality shows there are bills to be paid and lives to live.

You might as well be doing something else whilst working on getting that dream job. The one thing I keep reminding myself is that I’m not the only one, and the day will come that I can finally say I’ve done it.

This brings me to my outfit of the day. My new job requires me to dress smart and presentable and I have been dying to show you guys an office look.

I'm so in love with these Missguided trousers, the shape is so flattering and the colour is perfect for A/W.

Feel free to leave comments, check out my social media and subscribe to my blog for more outfits of the day.

Lots of Love

Day 68- 100 Days In Clothes

Friday, 11 April 2014

Sometimes the best outfit is a simple outfit.

Stripping away all the accessories and business and you're left with a simple clean cut outfit.

You can never go wrong with monochrome, yet I decided to jazz the outfit slightly by wearing a pair of sparkly jelly shoes.

I decided to place my hair in a messy up-do as I love how easy they are, yet you still look like you've spent time doing your hair.

What I Wore Today:

Top- Topshop
Skirt- Topshop
Bag- Michael Kors
Shoes- Primark

Day 67- 100 Days In Fashion

Thursday, 10 April 2014

Todays look is perfect days like this where its full of  shopping and dinner later on.

These nude/light pink jeans look great with anything, dressed up or dressed down.

As you all know my love affair with crop tops is strong and I love showing a bit of mid drift but the look would also look great with a longer top.

I've kept the look simple with wavy hair, no accessories and hardly there make up.

What I Wore Today:

Top- H&M
Jeans- Zara
Bag-Zara
Socks- Topshop
Trainers- Converse

Day 66- 100 Days In Clothes

Wednesday, 9 April 2014

Hurrahh! Sunny and warm (finally).

Todays outfit was me embracing the sun, it's still not sandals weather so I've kept my loafers on but I'm so excited to be wearing cute little summer dresses.

I've left my hair down with loose curls which I adore.

My make up is still simple with a little colour on my lips with a pink lipgloss.

Dress-Primark
Blazer- Asos
Bag- Chanel
Bracelet- Primark
