Keeping Warm With REPEAT Cashmere

Tuesday, 24 January 2017

For me, although January brings so much possibility and new beginnings, I get over it so quickly. I might be the only one, but I feel like once Christmas is over, the weather should start getting warmer. That said, London is ALWAYS colder in January and February, and as someone who is constantly FREEZING, I find myself looking for items that keep me warm while still looking stylish and versatile.

I recently came across REPEAT Cashmere; a brand that's all about quality cashmere for affordable prices. Growing up, I always thought cashmere was something that only my mum would wear as I found the items to be unfashionable and not very stylish. REPEAT Cashmere ooze comfort, style and class. A few things that I look for when looking for everyday wear. I've never been the sort of person who likes to buy throw away fashion, so investing in good pieces that I know I will wear again and again is something I like to do on a regular basis, whether that be designer, or items that show craftsmanship and quality like REPEAT Cashmere.

As I've got older, I have really learned to appreciate that quality over quantity. I adore wearing items that feel soft and that's exactly what REPEAT Cashmere strive to do. With an array of different styles and colours, there's something for everyone. I adore wearing chunky knitwear, but I have noticed that a lot of the time, the material they are made of are not as soft and they leave my skin feeling itchy, whereas cashmere is super soft and comfortable with no hassle.

I am styling this gorgeous Basic Cashmere Jumper with V-neck in Lake, which is a baby blue colour. I went for a baby blue as I felt that it would be great to bring me through to spring/summer. As it is such a light colour, typically, I would style it with a pair of light washed jeans, like these mum jeans I am wearing. I have styled this as if I were running around London for press trips, however, cashmere is so easy to dress up for a nice meal in the winter. Simply choosing the correct style like a roll neck or something that is not so loose.

Are you a fan of cashmere? How would you style it?
