When it comes to our skin, Im all about hydration and face masks. Throughout my early teen years, I didn't have the best skin, and I'm fortunate that now that I have grown up, my skin is a lot better. Yes it's dehydrated and a little oily now and then, but these are problems that I can deal with on a day to day basis. The acne however, was not my favourite part of my youth. I can actually say that now as I'm 25 this year... sobs into pillow.
I love pampering myself and I feel like the best and most important thing to pamper is my skin. Being a blogger who covers not only fashion, but beauty, I get to try a lot of different facials and face masks. I mean what beauty lover wouldn't love that? However there's something nice about being able to hydrate your skin in the comfort of your own home without having to treck all the way to a salon and back.
At the end of last year I was introduced to the beauty brand Jivesse, All of the Jivesse products are formed to deliver a multitude of benefits and contain the most natural and effective ingredients which help keep the skin looking and feeling younger for longer.
The last year or so has seen sheet masks grow from strength to strength. They are so easy to use, so easy that I regularly take them on holiday with me and use on long haul flights as I find my skin gets really dry while flying.
Jivesse are bringing out their new sheet mask, the Collagen & Gold Youth Defining Mask. The addition of gold in the mask acts as an antibacterial, and helps to regenerate skin cells and speed up the renewal process. After just one use you can feel that your skin feels a lot softer and leaves you looking radiant.
It is recommended to use the mask 2-3 times a week for 10-15 minutes a time. Alongside the mask, i have been using the Marine Collagen Cream which is quite a heavy cream. It leaves the skin feeling really soft. You can use the cream twice a day, but seeing as I find the cream very rich in texture, I tend to only use it at night time.
Have you ever used a sheet mask before? How do you feel about using gold on your face?
