LFW Day One

Saturday 20 February 2016

London Fashion Week is back! This year, I am extremely fortunate enough to be invited to so many more shows and presentations. Every year, my opportunities just keep getting better and better and I do feel very blessed (and exhausted).

This year I will be attending quite a few shows everyday so I decided instead of doing one long post like last year, I would do a day by day post. That way you get to see my outfits properly and what I’m up to.

If you can’t wait to see everything don’t forget to follow me on Instagram (@teralatilan) and Snapchat (teralatilan1) to stay updated instantly.

When London Fashion Week rolls around, ladies all around start the whole WHAT DO I WEAR fiasco. No matter how together you think you are, LFW tends to make a gal go a little crazy. Even when you get there you think, damn, why did I wear this, I'm too cold, I'm not cool enough etc, etc. But at the end of the day, what I love most about LFW is that every style and personality is showcased and met with eager photographers ready to pap your style.

CLIO PEPPIATT

My first stop was Motel Clio. Entering the sweet scent of a retro Motel Clio's designs came to life with her hand stitched slogan eye masks and berets and mini suitcases, And lets not forget the cute bunny slippers.

EDELINE LEE

Simple, yet elegant. From simple shapes and silhouettes to block colours. Edeline Lee's collection is simply breathtaking, The white dress with the deep plunge and floral sleeve details is a must have in any wardrobe.

KELLY SIMPKIN

A stunning collection from Kelly Simpkin this season. I'm obsessed with that bomber. Her collection combines elegant and girly chic by using a lot of lace and thrills without being over the top.

MICHAEL AZU

Beautiful key pieces from Michael Azu, focusing on colour and shape. My favourite has to be the red with lots of straps. I have a current obsession for strappy shoes.

REIN

Models walking around, taking the audience's clothes, phones. Taking selfies, looking at themselves in mirrors, following themselves on Instagram and taking selfies with the audience. Wow is all I can say. This presentation, really made me think about how the fashion industry has been taken over by technology and Instagram.

I hope you guys like the collections as much as I did. Stay tuned for LFW Day Two.
