Firstly, I would like to apologise for the quality of the photos in this post, but I felt like I really needed to share my time at Sketch London with you all as it has to be my favourite place at the moment.

Disguised as a London Town House, Sketch London has been described as an adult's playground. I personally think it's a girly girls dream house!

My friend wanted to take me somewhere special for my birthday and I've wanted to go to Sketch for a very long time so I jumped at the chance, and we definitely were not disappointed.

To start, walking in to the building you are greeted by the friendliest staff I have ever encounted. They made us feel welcome and explained the french menu (I very nearly ordered raw beef...oops) as well as recommending drinks and deserts. I have never experienced such helpful and friendly service anywhere.

I ordered the steak with a delicious creamed spinach and frites. And desert was recommended by our lovely waiter who later surprised me with a little birthday treat. So thank you.

Forget the food (for just a minute) because I need to get to the main attractions of Sketch. The different rooms. We booked to have dinner in the Gallery (pink room) and I have to say, it really made me reminisce about my pink room (I miss you). It really is quite breath taking how beautiful a room can be. From the pink parlour chairs to the pink wall it's nicely juxtaposed with David Shirgley's sketches and quirky crockery.

To top it all though, the most intriguing part of Sketch has to be their bathroom. With beautiful white steps you walk to see these intriguing oversized egg pods in a spaceship type roof. While in the pods you will be enticed with mood lighting as well as birds chirping in your ears.

It's strange to think that my favourite place at the moment has come from the fact that I am so intrigued by the loos.

If you're ever in the area, or not, I suggest you make your way down just to experience the toilets. Next on my list is the afternoon tea, I've heard nothing but great reviews and can't wait to experience the delicious menu.
