How to Style Denim

London, we have some sun! Huzzah! Finally, I can see summer nearing and I'm a lot happier. Do I have to start all my blog posts by rambling on about the weather? Yes. I live in England and that is all we do here!

This month, I've teamed up with the lovely Dorothy Perkins (#DPDenim) to show you a few of their new jeans and how to style them. These jeans are the Darcy ones, and I haven't taken the off since they arrived. They're so comfortable and they cut at such a flattering length for me. They're supposed to be ankle grazers but seeing as I am 5"9, they stop mid to bottom shin and I absolutely love it. 

I can't wait to wear this pair to fashion week in the next few days, creating an effortlessly cool chic look with them. But for todays look I decided to go for something I would wear to a (blog) meeting or event. The joys of being a blogger/ freelancer, is that you can legit wear what you want to a meeting, and for me in the winter, jeans it is! 

I picked this bomber jacket up when I was in Barcelona a few months back, it was about €15 and my friends and I instantly fell in love with it. I've also got to mention the fact that we left our apartment in summer clothes, only to be freezing halfway through the evening and had to find a shop to buy some warm clothes so finding this little bargain was a huge relief!

I really like the earthy tones of this look, it would be great for a day out, you could simply swap the booties for a pair of flats or trainers and you're set to go all day.

On another note, next month I'll be going to Rome for a few days, (yes I know I have a love affair with Italy) are there any places you recommend for me to visit while I'm out there?

How To Wear A Suede Jacket 3

You've seen me style this jacket for date night here and for a night out with the girls here, now I've decided to style it how I would for a day of shopping, or for running errands.

I absolutely adore leather anything with leather, and this pair of leather trousers will be featured a lot in my style photos. If you haven't seen how I styled in my editorial esque photo shoot you can find it here.

By adding the converses it gives the whole look this relaxed feel. The addition of the suede jacket helps keep me warm on a autumns day, while also adding some colour.

Dorothy Perkins Coat Guide

Wrap jackets are back for another Autumn Winter. I find them to be a winter staple for me as they're so warm and cozy. You can just chuck it on and go. Whether it's a casual look or for a more glam look, it's the perfect piece; all you really need to do is piece it with a pair of heels. 

I teamed my neutral toned wrap jacket with a denim zip through dress as I felt the indigo colour gave the outfit an edge against the camel and white on the wrap coat. By teaming it with ankle boots (an oh so big trend at the moment) I kept the outfit casual for a day time look.
