Styling Puffer Jackets For Winter 2019

Wednesday, 20 November 2019

When it comes to winter style, my main concern is keeping warm. Like really warm. I am that person that is always cold. So the fact that puffer jackets are back in style makes me super happy. I can now be nice and cosy and still look fashionable and presentable. Puffer jackets are like going outside in your dressing gown. They make everything ok, and keep you toasty and warm.

I love styling my puffer jackets with a basic outfit. My go to look is all black or cream look. I love also pairing this look with a roll neck bodysuit as it means there's no chance of my mid-drift getting a hint of wind.

I have rounded up my top 15 puffer jackets from the high street, there's bound to be something for everyone's style in there. As you can tell, my favourite pieces are in neutral colours as I find them a lot easier to fit into my wardrobe.

Pom poms, love them or hate them, when summer hits, they're everywhere. Personally I love them. I love them, but I only like them for the summer. I feel like it has this grecian vibe to it, and the sight of multiple different coloured pom poms bring my mind straight to the beach with sand in my toes and sea hair.

Although I love the colourful pom poms, I wanted to do a post on a more wearable approach. I know a lot of my readers prefer a more muted and sophisticated look so I created a look using black pom poms and I'm in love.

I find this look to be so on trend my timeless at the same time. I find that a lot of people shy away from wearing black in the summer, (read why I love wearing black in the summer here) but by adding a pop of colour with the mustard top it adds more to the outfit as a whole and makes it more of an interesting look.

The material of this top is really thin and keeps you cool during the long hot summer. It was perfect for when I went to Cyprus in June, but with temperatures reaching over 40 degrees I think I'm going to living in a bikini for the rest of my time here and stick to wearing these outfits in the evenings.

What To Wear To The Races

Monday, 13 June 2016

When it comes to summer, all I want to be wearing are dresses. All day, all night long. Preferably something that is loose fitting and flowing. This dress is everything I could ask for and more.

I absolutely adore anything monochrome all year round, but this dress is perfect for anyone attending any garden parties, weddings, or even Ascot and the races. It's so elegant and classy while still having such beautiful detailing on the skirt section.

I've been on a hunt for a pair of summer heels that I can wear all day long, and low and behold, I have found them! I'm constantly running around central london going from event to meeting to parties, so I need an all round shoe that can see me from each occasion while still being comfortable and these are absolutely perfect! I can wear them with so many different outfits and they still look so fabulous. But most importantly, they have a chunky heel that make it super comfortable to run around in. My summer has been made with these babies.

Black And White Lovin'

Oh monochrome, how I love thee. Black and white is an essential palette one must have in their wardrobe. Especially for those "I CANT FIND ANYTHING TO WEAR" days!

This look is something that if I could get away with wearing everyday without thinking "I'm too overdressed to go to pick up some fruit" I would. So I save it for more exciting days, like when I'm going to pick up a cake  a nice restaurant.

The boots, are to die for, I've probably rambles on about a million times how obsessed I am with these, but they are just so perfect. Style; check...comfort; check...black; check. What more could a girl want in a pair of boots.

I've teamed my oh so fabulous boots with my leather skirt. Now between you and me, I bought this skirt thinking I wont even like it (you know how long those oxford street Zara fitting room queues are) but I thought I'd give it a go, and I'm so glad I did. It is the softest skirt ever and it's only faux leather. I can wear it with anything and it instantly makes my outfit look so much more expensive.

By teaming it with a turtle neck white jumper I've kept the outfit quite sophisticated while still remaining warm.

What's your thoughts on this look? I'd love to hear so leave a comment down below.

Today I went out to a car show so I wasn't quite sure what to wear, I thought a nice middie dress and cute jumper would be a great outfit, teamed with ankle boots. It's great to be comfortable and easy to wear as I had to do quite a bit of walking around.

I have kept my make up same as always and have straightened my hair, I am loving the length at the moment.

Day 93- 100 Days In Clothes

Monday, 5 May 2014

One of my lovely friends from work Mila Sam is a terrific photographer and we decided to go central and take a few cool photos showcasing both of our talents (her photography and my style and fashion).

I love this floral top juxtaposed with the denim and the white canvas of my trainers.

Thankfully the weather was lovely and Mila is a brilliant photographer and has made me look absolutely lush, so thank you my dear. Make sure to take a look at her photography here. I will be posting a few more outfits from these shoots soon.

Top- H&M
Shorts- Levis

Day 92- 100 Days In Clothes

The sun is shinning and I am going to make the most of this bank holiday weekend (even if I am working) and spend it wearing a cute summery dress.

I lot the colours on this dress an the print makes it look really modern. I've got no jewellery on and have kept the focus of my make up on just having flawless, dewy skin.

Dress- Asos
Shoes- Topshop
Bag- Brandy Meliville
