As you all know a few days ago I was exploring the streets of beautiful Milan. I absolutely love travelling to new countries and exploring different cities, tasting the cuisine and (trying) to see the city through the eyes of the locals.
This said, Milan being one of the biggest fashion capitals of the world, I knew the shopping would be insane. So I made sure I saved enough money that when I got there and if something caught my eye, I would be able to make an indulgent purchase.
Before we went away, I had a quick google search and found that the best place to go shopping was the shopping outlet in Seravelle. It's an hour and twenty minutes from the city, but so worth it.
I was on the hunt for a black card holder or a black bag. I have been swooning over the YSL bags for months now, but I can't justify spending that much (just yet). I walked into Burberry and my heart skipped a beat. I knew it was meant to be. As I don't like to make any hasty decisions when it comes to designer items, I walked around all the other stores, just incase there was something else I might like.
Let's be honest, I knew the moment I saw this bag that it HAD to be mine! It's the perfect everyday bag and surprisingly, fits quite a lot inside. When it comes to designer sometimes you can get caught up in the whole oh its new season/ old season, but a good black leather bag, will last you season after season!
I adore the fact that on the outside it is an understated piece, with a small metal detailing of the Burberry logo, but the inside. AHH. Is lined with the famous Burberry print. Back in the 00s the print had become quite 'chavy' and with a lot of dupes, the brands identity was being brought down. But over the last few years, my love for Burberry has returned and I love how understatedly classy this bag is.
Now I know many of you are probably thinking "Burberry is a British brand, why didn't you buy it from here?" Well, my answer is simple. It may be a British brand, but each country has a different style and finding this bag at the outlet for such an amazing price, was an opportunity not to be missed.
