Monday morning this amazing Boots Beauty Box arrived on my door and I couldn't wait to start playing around with all of the lovely products I received. And boy oh boy, I've created the perfect party look. Each product comes under £10.

You all know how much I love make up (whether I'm good at it or not) it's something I LOVE playing around with, and that's exactly what it is. Something to play around with and to help enhance your own beauty. A little eyeliner never did any harm.

As Christmas is literally TOMORROW, I thought I would create a festive look, that said, this is also a perfect look for New Years Eve.

I always start my make up with my eyes. I like to make sure that none of the eyeshadow drops on my cheeks and ruin all my hard work. I used the Collection #YourStyleYourMood Eyeshadow Palette. I decided to go for a neutral eye (as always) Starting with the lighter colour and making my way outwards slowly getting darker and darker, hey smokey eye!

After adding my foundation and concealer I decided to start working on my eyeliner. I say working as that's usually what happens, but with the help of L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Perfect Slim Intense it was no effort. With a felt tip... tip it easily glides over the eye and helps produce the perfect winged eyeliner. Something that I am a novice at! So if you think a winged eyeliner isn't for you because you simply cant do it, give this product a try. You wont regret it.

With a layer of mascara I started to place my eyelashes on. These Eylure Party Lashes Frozen Beauty
are absolutely adorable. So different and super festive. With a few beautiful shimmering ribbon lashes, it takes your look from ordinary to sparkly festive eyes and I'm just so excited about it I cant contain myself! I've always been a fan of Eylure, but it's so nice to try something different that is subtle and still looks elegant.

Moving on to Contour. I am a novice when it comes to contouring, but honestly, for someone like me, who has a combination skin, (mainly oily) the Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit is FABULOUS. The colours are so pigmented and was so easy to use. I used a small brush to 'sculpt' then a fluffy brush to blend everything out. I also found the highlight colour perfect for setting my under eye concealer.

I then moved on to use the Sleek MakeUp Precious Metals Highlight Palette. With four different colours there's something for everyone. I decided to use 'Equinox' a golden shimmery powder because I wanted a really highlighted dewy look. I've always been a huge fan of sleek make up as their products are always so pigmented, last for ages AND are super cheap.

Finally, I decided to give the Nail Apothecary Gel-Effect Top Coat a go. Not a day goes by that I don't have painted nails. I don't know why. I just love polished nails on myself. I feel naked with out it. And where I have long and stong nails I don't usually go to the nail shop unless I'm going on holiday, because who wants to faff around on holiday with nail polish... not me. So the gel effect nail coat is such a great idea. It dries in minutes and leaves your nails so shinny. Who doesn't love shiny nails!

I hope to have inspired you all to go try some make up from the high street. Although it's LOVELY having designer make up, sometimes, high street brands do just the same thing (if not better) and for less that half the price!

Have you ever tried any of these products before? Are you more of a high street/ luxury make up girl?

Come say hey on social media
