Lord's Palace North Cyprus Hotel

As you have probably noticed June has been really quiet on the blog. And that's because I have been super busy offline creating content for you all. June has seen me explore five different cities in just one month and I am just about getting back to my normal routine.

In the beginning of June I headed out to my other home (North Cyprus) and spent a wonderful week creating content while relaxing at a wonderful 5* hotel; Lord's Palace Hotel in Kyrenia/ Girne.

Lord's Palace is one of the newest hotels on the island and one thing that all hotels in North Cyprus have in common is that they know how to do luxury and their customer services go above and beyond for their guests.

Upon arrival I was given one of the most welcoming greetings I've ever received with an abundance of sweet treats, fruit, wines and even hand delivered flowers by a handsome guy!

The Hotel

The hotel itself is situated near the harbour and we were told to look out for the Sulu Cember (water roundabout) as the hotel was a minute away from there. Turkish people love to randomly name things, but it works. We found the hotel after the Sulu Cember.

Within the hotel they have a beach, a massive pool on the ground floor, an indoor pool with spa as well as a rooftop terrace with a pool and bar (Sky Bar). This is where I spent the majority of my time as the views from up here were absolutely breath taking. One side of the hotel had the views of the new harbour and sea and the other side you could see the mountains.

The interior of the hotel is super luxury with a nudge towards the historic attributes found all over the island. However, once you step into the Sky Bar and pool areas, you find a more modern twist. I think the juxtaposition of old meets modern works well for the hotel as it's the perfect place to visit for business, or for a getaway.

The Food

There is a buffet restaurant open three times a day as well as a la cart restaurants situated on the premises. It is worth noting that some items in the buffet area are extra and charges can be applied so make sure to ask before you order.

The breakfast buffet was my favourite. At Lord's Palace Hotel there was such a vast variety of different items that I found myself in food heaven. Make sure to start the day with a boaca (pastry filled with cheese) or a simit as it's so delicious. Lunch and evening buffet had a variety of Turkish dishes, a huge salad section and a variety of different cuisines.

Relaxation

The hotel has a lot of different chill out areas. From the beach to the upstairs bar, you can find yourself in a different location every hour. Alongside this there is a spa where you can use the Turkish baths or book yourself in for a massage. If you're off to an event you can book yourself in to the salon with stylists from Chicago Salon (also found in Girne)

I will be heading back to North Cyprus again this month and I will definitely be heading back to Lord's Palace. You can book your stay here. Alternatively, you are able to spend the whole day with three meals for a cost of 190 Turkish Lira.
