Since my last fashion post, I have been finding myself making an active effort to dress a lot smarter. I have made shirts a huge addition to my wardrobe. I find that I am able to wear them with a lot of different things, and I'm especially loving wearing them with jeans. I feel like adding a shirt makes me look and feel more put together, but teaming it with a pair of jeans means I don't feel like I've got a bank job in the city.
I think every woman needs a good classic white shirt in their wardrobe. A white shirt can be worn so many different ways and throughout all four seasons so it's important to invest in a good quality one. I love that this shirt from Next is classic, yet has the double bell sleeves which makes it feel more fashionable and has more of a Teral spin on it.
Another key item to invest in is a good pair of jeans. You can find a decent pair of jeans all over the high street, but I decided to team this shirt with a pair of Armani jeans. I feel like having key designer pieces really brings an entire outfit together and are bound to last a long time.
When it comes to designer, if there's a way of finding something for a little cheaper, I'm all for it. So discount sites like Cocosa are really great for picking up a great bargain. These jeans were £39 (originally £113). I normally go for a lighter wash of denim, but I thought going for a darker indigo would make the entire outfit look a lot smarter.
