This season it seems that knee high boots have made a return. With the catwalks, celebs and bloggers alike all donning the trend it's hard not to fall in love with a pair.
I purchased this pair from Stuart Weitzman over six years ago and they have been collecting dust at the back of my wardrobe since then. However, I loved the style so much and bought them on sale. I knew their time would come soon enough.
And that's the thing when you buy key pieces that are so well made. They can sit in your wardrobe and be pulled out seasons later looking brand new and bang on trend.
A few years ago I would have styled these boots completely differently. However, I decided to team it up with a flowing wrap around midi dress as I love the way the boots get covered by the bottom of the dress. It looks so elegant and sophisticated.
Although I am in love with my various pairs of over the knee boots, it's so nice to add something different into the mix and experiment with different boot length. Thanks so Stuart Weitzman years ahead of the style game for creating these boots and my friend at Russell and Bromley for pushing me to get these after weeks of being on hold.
