This time I decided to go for a completely neutral room and adding a bit of colour with accessories, (no more bright pink walls!) The first thing I was after was a new light. I decided to head down to my local BHS and see what I could find and I can assure you I was not disappointed.
The one that I chose is a lamp shade. It has a blue shade adding a pop of colour to an all white room and has these little diamantes hanging down the bottom. Oozing class and sophistication.
But I wish I was decorating a dining room or passageway. They have so many gorgeous rope hanging lights you can't imagine. One day.
I decided that while I was there I would get a few more bits for the room that I might need.
Obviously, a candle holder was the first thing that I went for and this one came with a delightful smelling candle already built in. So once I've used that all up I can simply replace it with another one.
I also managed to pick this glass pot with a lid. I'm not entirely sure what it is for but I've decided that I will have it on my dressing table maybe place a candle in it (obsessed I know) or even cotton wool pads. I wanted to keep my room simple and elegant using a few colours and BHS has and always will be my favourite store for homeware.
