Magnitone Barefaced Facial Cleanser

Friday 29 April 2016

With summer around the corner, I've really been working on getting my skin looking flawless without any make up. At the beginning of the year I focused on using the Pixi Beauty products but I feel like my skin tends to get used to products if I use them too often and stop working. So this month, I'm trying out the Magnitone Barefaced and being a part of their Spring Clean-ing challenge; get clear skin in 30 days.

I've tried many deep cleansing brushes before, from high end to super cheap, but I never got round to trying Magnitone. It's the perfect cleanser if you want that in between price. For £70, it's got the premium feel but a quarter of the price.

The Magnitone is so light that it makes the perfect travel companion and has one of the softest brushes I've ever felt. Because it's so soft, you can use it daily without feeling like your doing any long term damage.

The Magnitone has two different pulsing settings. Depending on how deep you want your cleanse to be you can constantly switch it up. My favourite feature is the fact that the brush works for 60 seconds and beeps every 20 seconds to let you know when to move on to the next section of the face making it super easy to get an even clean all over.

How do you get your skin ready for barefaced season?

How To Wear A white Denim Skirt

Wednesday 27 April 2016

White Denim Skirt (*) | Blue Bardot Top Zara (similar here) | Grey Suede Heels

As the days get warmer, I see myself leaning more and more towards white. White everything. Today, I'm showing you all how to style a white denim skirt. People always tell me they find styling white denim quite difficult, but i find it super easy. Especially in the spring summer.

Think of the white denim as your blank canvas, whether it be a skirt, trousers or shorts. Pair it with one block colour for the ultimate chic look. Personally, I prefer wearing white with pastel colours. I feel like it has the potential to make any outfit look more expensive than it actually is.

This House of Fraser skirt was a total steal for under £50. It's something that will be in my wardrobe for an extremely long time, as the shape and cut of it is timeless.

I've kept my accessories neutral as I wanted the pop of blue to be the main focus.

What do you think of this look? How would you style a white denim skirt?

This Is Teral Turns Three

Three years! This Is Teral has been going on for THREE YEARS! I can't believe it.

Although I don't know the official date as I've gone through and deleted old posts because quite frankly, I didn't have a clue what I was doing back then (not like I do now) so I've decided that today 25th April is my blog anniversary. The first blog post that's live on This Is Teral; have a look here, was published officially three years ago today. Isn't that scary!

It's crazy how different my personal style and blog has changed. I have worked so hard to achieve my own style for fashion and writing and invested so much effort and time into creating this blog that I am so proud of!

I remember the day I took these images like it was yesterday. I got all dressed up to go to my first ever press day and was super excited that I'd been invited down to the Me Hotel in London. When I arrived, the ladies at the door asked where I was from and I felt so ashamed to say I was a blogger, I felt like I wouldn't have any respect from anyone because, who was I? Just a random girl writing on the internet. When I look back I feel ashamed to say that I was embarrassed to tell anyone about my blog, I was so very proud of it, but I always felt as if everyone would be judging and laughing at me, so I always played down how excited I was about it all. Now, I feel like the blogging community has taken over, and we're here to make our mark! I'm writing this after a busy week full of press events where people are so excited to see me, a blogger. I'm constantly bumping into people at events who have 'seen my blog before' etc and it makes me so proud to see how far myself, and other bloggers have come in such a short period.

I'm actually in shock that my blog is officially three years old! Last week my mum stated that I am so protective of my blog that I treat it like it's my baby, and she has literally hit the nail on the head. This blog means so much to me. My little corner of the internet has helped me grow into the stylish business woman I am today. I say business woman, because blogging is HARD! You need to be business savvy to be successful and I'm still working on the business side of it all. But I will continue to work even harder on it because it's something that makes me so very happy. Over the last year and a half, my blog has gone from just my friends and family reading it to over 25,000 people following me and my style around. I've been given so many fantastic opportunities to work with some amazing brands and can't wait to see what the future holds for this little website!

I can not write this blog post without thanking all of my family, friends, readers and followers. Thank you for your support, thank you for you patience, and thank you all for reading. My love for you all is never ending. You all mean so much to me.

I'm back again with another video. This week I'm showing you all some new pieces of clothing that I have been buying or been sent from some lovely brands.

When I started blogging way back, I used to do hauls all the time. I have since deleted all of those videos and have produced something that I'm a lot prouder of.

Let me know what you'd like to see next.

Give Me All The Carbs

Tuesday 19 April 2016

If there's one thing I love more than fashion, that's carbs. Last year I was trying to eat healthy and I literally cried over a potato. My mum made a lovely roast dinner and I tried to put one on my plate when she took the potato off my plate and moved them away from me. How harsh was that! Nonetheless, the 'diet' didn't last very long, and I'm still out eating my carbs everyday *love heart eyes*.

I knew this t-shirt was perfect for me. I have so many bottoms that I find myself always shopping for new tops. I feel like when you get a new top you can wear the same shoes, bottoms and accessories, but the addition of a new top makes for an entire different outfit.

I love how casual but chic this look is. It's perfect for those days that London's warmer than normal, and looks great with a long trench cold if you get caught in the rain, which in england is pretty much everyday.

Are you a fan of slogan t-shirts?

Paul Mitchell Hair

Monday 18 April 2016

A few weeks back I headed into Headmasters in Soho to try out the new products from Paul Mitchell. This month they have launched their Mirror Smooth products where they offered treatments and a blow dry.

I love going to the hairdressers to get my hair pampered and I was on Snapchat the whole way through so if you would like to see what I get up to on a daily basis make sure you follow me teralatilan1.

I feel like the pictures are quite self explanatory. They show the entire time I spent in the salon. I will however add that my hair felt and looked so smooth and shiny. Walking out of the salon and back down oxford street I received so many compliments before going out for dinner later that evening. And for once, my blow dry actually lasted longer than a day.

Another thing to mention is the divine smell. I'm not really a fan of ginger as I generally find it to be quite over powering, however, this blend of ginger and Abyssinian oil creates this beautiful scent I can't get enough of. This product is ideal for those with frizzy hair, and is something that I will be bringing on holiday with me as I tend to wash my hair everyday and end up with a hot, frizzy mess of a maine.

If you want to have a smooth, put together look, I can't recommend the new Mirror Smooth products.

All photos were taken via snapchat so I do apologise for the lack of quality!

Summer Shoe Wish List

Friday 15 April 2016

There's something about spring summer that makes me get so excited about shopping. It might be the fact that there's so much more colour and choice in the summer than the winter that I seem to just go crazy buying everything!

Today I thought I would comprise some summer shoes that I'm loving at the moment from Missguided to Jones Bootmaker. There's something for everyone. I've linked all the products to their images, so if anything takes your fancy, it's easier for you to get your hands on them.

I tend to always go for sandals and open toe heels are they're a lot comfier and easier for my feet to breathe. What's your go to shoe in the warmer months?
